Co-learning Season 5: Stories from Palestine

The situation in Palestine remains urgent. Alongside a fragile ceasefire, violence continues, with escalating military actions in the West Bank. The ongoing violence and escalating threat calls for immediate action.

Would you like to deepen your understanding of Palestinian resistance and storytelling in the face of this violence and oppression? Would you like to take action in support of Palestinian liberation?

Join us for a LearnJam co-learning series exploring Palestinian storytelling and resistance.

The series will run over four online sessions on Tuesday afternoons in March and April 2025, from 2:30-4pm UK time (4:30 – 6pm Palestine time)

Each week we will look at, discuss and learn from stories of Palestinian resistance. Towards the end of each session, we will begin to collaboratively co-create a standalone learning resource that helps others deepen their understanding of the Palestinian context and struggle for liberation.

The sessions are free to attend and open to anyone committed to a free Palestine and the liberation of all people, everywhere.

More information

At LearnJam we have been running our ‘Co-Learning at the End of an Era‘ seasons on and off since 2023. In each session, participants engage with a resource and then reflect on what they have learned, before coming back together as a group to discuss. In March 2025, we will run Season 5 of the co-learning programme, focused specifically on Palestine.

Some of the materials for the Season will be adapted from a Storytelling for Resistance programme that LearnJam ran with Palestinian partners in 2024. This programme is being offered by LearnJam for free using our own time and resources, as part of our commitment to social and environmental change.

This programme is for you if you would like to:

  • Deepen your understanding of the political, social and cultural context of Palestine
  • Deepen your understanding of Palestinian resistance and the struggle for liberation
  • Support the co-creation of sharable resources that will help a wider audience deepen their understanding of the situation in Palestine
  • Connect with others who are committed to a free Palestine and collective liberation

Session format

Sessions will be 90 minutes, online. Each week we will look at, discuss and learn from stories of Palestinian resistance. During the sessions participants will have time to:

  • Check-in
  • Engage with a resource
  • Journal about our response to the resource
  • Share and reflect with others about what you have learned and how you feel
  • Support the co-creation of a learning resource

At the end of each session we will begin the co-creation of a standalone learning resource to help others deepen their understanding of the Palestinian context and struggle for liberation. This resource will be co-created based on reflections from that co-learning session. The hope is that the resource can be shared publicly for people to do asynchronous or with others (for free).
